Alāan | الآن‎

After i finished from Harvey Nichols for Dazzle with Crystal event , me and my sisters was starving so 

we decided to go to a new place called Alāan on Ourouba road to give it a try!!

    

Alāan " means ‘now’ in Arabic " reflects the energy of the art scene in Saudi Arabia , it is a multi-functional contemporary : gallery - educational hub -library -restaurant and coffeehouse .. It shows works for artists and designers from Saudi Arabia.

الآن على طريق العروبه 

الآن يعكس الطاقات الفنيه الموجودة في السعودية ، هو مكان متعدد : قاليري - مركز تعليم - مكتبة - مطعم - كافيه..القاليري يعرض فيه أعمال

 المصممين والفنانين من السعودية.

You can see this on the enterance of the Art Gallery ..i liked the fact that three saudi talented artists called

 their voice of art works "Soft Power"

عند مدخل القاليري موجود هذي اللوحة .. تعرفك على الفنانات اللي اشتغلوا في المعرض وعجبني تسميتهم بــ "القوة الناعمه"

This painted car caught my eyes you can find it n a gallery corner done by Sara abu Abdullah

these handled "Sab7a" with arabic names are such a piece of creativeness!! My fav 

 أكثر شي عجبني وشدني في المعرض "السبح" المعلقه مكتوب عليها أسامي عربية !! قطعة فنيه من جد

Coffee house "majlis" & reading hub .. very organized & quite atmosphere to study 

الكافيه "المجلس" و ركن القراءة .. جو مرتب وهادي ينفع للدراسة

Now we come to the fun part "FOOD" restaurant was upstairs .. after we sat in our table the waiter bring us the menues and not any menues!! iPad menu you pick whatever you want and order it by ur self, cool huh?

نجي للشي المهم " الاكل" المطعم كان في الدور الثاني .. بعد ما قعدنا على الطاولة جاب الويتر المنيو ومو أي منيو !!

آيباد وموجود عليه المنيو تختاري اللي تبينه وتطلبيه من نفسك 

Starters with some hot bread.. the tiny rounded thing was YUM!! 

!!هنا الستارتر مع الخبز .. الشي الدائري كان مره لذيذ

For the main course i ordered Coca Cola Chicken i was curios about the name ..don't know how to 

describe the taste of it !! Very delicious the sause had some sweetness flavor!! i highly recommend it.

اخترت الطبق الرئيسي دجاج بالكوكاكولا شدّني الاسم إني أطلبه .. ما أعرف كيف أوصف الطعم !! كان مره لذيذ والصوص كان سويت !! أنصحكم فيه .

For the dessert i picked Chocolate Soufflée ..you can tell that it's delicious by the smell ! 

طبق الديزرت اخترت سوفليه ..من ريحته تقولي إنه لذيذ! فعلا كان لذيذ.

On general the decoration, lighting was perfect ..the staff was really kind but the prices was over priced 

 بشكل عام الإضاءه والديكور كان حلو .. الويترز معاملتهم ممتازة بس الأسعار كان شوي مبالغ فيها
